Setting up to push through my essays due in the next few weeks. One for my Philosophy and Literature class - Sartre, Existentialism, and John Barth's dark comedy The End of the Road - and a scholarly review essay for William Dean Howells' novel A Hazard of New Fortunes. Plus I have an essay on Fillipo Brunelleschi's design of Il Duomo.
Fun times ahead.
I just have to make sure I keep my head up and my mind focused on the outcomes of all this stress and chaos.
Have you ever just felt like you need to take time to yourself? Time to just breathe and reorganize yourself? I'm fortunate in that I have a fiancé who is willing to let me take some time to do just that. I'm able to tell him I need to just take 45 minutes or an hour to soak in the bath and get myself together before I start working. And he's totally cool with watching our son (and our daughter if she's home). I just think that's so important - to have a steady support structure when you're trying to reach your goals. I didn't always have one of those, so I'm more than grateful for the support I have now.
Study well, lovelies!
